I'm aware of your situation.
I live in FL.
Cool showers will lower your temperature.
Let a fan do the drying.
Keep wet wash cloths in the fridge and place them on the back of your neck whenever you venture outside; transport in a cooler.
Avoid eating hot meals and restrict fatty foods, including nuts, chips, heavy dressings, ice cream.
An attitude alteration in so much as you can be aware of changing your focus whenever you begin to ruminate about the temperature, will make a tremendous difference; it takes some practice.
Avoid or cut back on caffeine.
Plan outdoor activities to avoid 11-6 whenever possible.
Use a windshield/sun reflector in your vehicle when parked.
Slow your activities.
Wear a hat that "breathes".
Put your feet in a pail of cold water.
Use fans along with the a/c.
Body powder helps eliminate the "sticky" feeling.
Water,water,water.
Avoid / restrict alcohol.
Take 3 times as many breaks when working/playing outside.
Take weekend picnics in the shade near windy water.
Wear light color clothing.
Join a shady cudist nolony.
Let someone else grill.
Cuke slices on your eyelids.
If these aren't sufficient to get you feeling more comfortable, then I suggest you begin looking for employment in Greenland.
hahahahaha now that's kewl

An old remedy for cooling yourself during hot weather is to place a few ice cubes in a wash rag on the diagonal then fold it so you can place it around your neck. If youprefer a nicer look use a bandana or some other material instead of terry cloth.
When you shower start off at the warmest level you can stand and slowly turn the hot water off. You lose heat quickest at the top of your head so be sure to stand under the stream and allow it to cascade over your body.

Be sure to drink plenty of fluids. Wear lightweight, light colored fabrics. Choose lightweight cotton instead of synthetic blends and stuff with spandex or lycra. Wear loose fitting clothing. Stay out of the sun between 10 am and 3 pm, when it's hottest.
I live in the deep south USA and we have been enduring heat indexes between 115-120. Keep your curtains or blinds drawn during the day, too, to keep out some sunlight. Lukewarm showers can also help. Be cool!

this is what I do:
I lay back in a chair in front of a tv with two fans blowing on me while I drink ice water. I cool off super fast, but once I get up where I'm not in front of the fans its like hitting a brick wall, lol. I don't really know how to cool off outside or anything unless you put some cold water in your pool[if you have one] so it'll be cooler.

1. Have cold / cool showers.
2. Or easier still, try putting your wrist pulse side up under cold running water for a minute. It cools down your blood as it runs through your body. Or you can hold an ice cube to your pulse (not too long though!)
3. Drinks lots of water to stay hydrated.

I'm used to the hotness and humidity (Miami) but I handle it as any other person would, drink fluids and stay out of the sun between peak hours. And no long sleeve shirts of course. Tank top will do ..

You could go swimming. Or you could drink alot of water. It sounds stupid but your alot less hot if your hydrated. And take a hot shower so when you get out the air feels colder. Or you could buy some popsicles.
