Creationists:...?

Question

Do you have any idea what evolution actually is? Most of you just think that it is that we used to be monkeys... Many atheists know about the basics of creationism. Even though we don't believe in it we still know about it. Don't you think you should actually learn what evolution is.

State what you think the basic principle is.

Actually, not all creationists are as closed minded as you think. I believe God created the heaven and the earth in 7 days - just like the Bible says. Some things are mutating, but not to the extent of changing species or anything as radical as that. My dad is a scientist and has studied both sides of the issue and found that he believes in creationism. No matter which side you choose it's still all about theories and faith. So doesn't it make more sense to believe that God made everything for His glory and with a purpose than it does to think that random cells started to form into breathing creatures over thousands of years? I see God's hand in all of nature and wonder how you can doubt that He had a plan in making it! But, I do at least know both THEORIES, and know what the current thoughts are on the subject. I just choose the see the truth.

I think you're asking way too much of people who believe in a literal Bible as well as an InvisibleSkyGuy.

I'm sure most TrueBelievers THINK they maybe adversely INFECTED if they looked into any other type of knowledge too deeply.
They think Satan will JUMP outa the book and gra-a-ab them an stick 'em in a pot or something equally as incredible.

Yeah, I know the basics of Creationism - God said: let it be and it was thus.
But it took him six days to complete it and then he needed a rest.

I've always been a bit mystified by this.
Jeannie from 'I Dream of Jeannie' and Samantha from 'Bewitched' could do all sortsa stuff in the blink of an eye and not get tired.
But the Xian God needed 6 days and a rest - they sound very much like human characteristics - something doesn't sound right - something sounds a bit suss.

Some tribes believe that taking there picture will steal there souls. The moral thing to do is not take there picture. I don't see the difference here, Most people don't have such silly belief's. Arguing with a creationist is like arguing with any stone age culture. I don't know why you would bother.
What gives them rocks too throw is when men of science who are supposed to have an open mind close there minds and insist on there pet theory and refuse to look at new evidence. THAT is why they call evolution a religion in itself because its gone beyond science and now has become dogma.

I know about evolution, do you have any questions you need answered? I could recommend a couple of good books on the topic, they're full of lies mind you, but they explain the constructs of evolution well?

Evolution, simply put, is change over time.

I know the basic theory of evolution is that we, and apes, evolved from a common ancestor. This may be true.

I know what it is, it's the biggest lie ever believed. Gods word is true, evolution never happened. Everyone will know it someday, even you. Darwin knows the truth now and evolution isn't it. Evolution is just a tool satan uses to deceive and you fell right into his trap. Turn to the real truth while you still can. The truth of salvation through Jesus, paid for on the cross.

hey i just wanna clarify here if my theory was right.

i believe we could come from the same ancestor as monkey , lets call him noob.

so noob split into different area on earth , and subsequently they start to evolve accordingly to their surrounding enviroment , for example this group of noobs live in a very hot place , thus grew less hair , while the other group of noobs live in very cool place and thus grew more hair ( all refering to their offsprings)

other went to places such as thick forest whereby perhaps ground area too little for them to stay on , thus they have to live on trees , thus grew extremely strong arm and tail to support their mobility up there.

others lives in less thick forest but need tremendous strength to protect themselves from predator etc and thus grew super strength etc lol

humans perhaps are a group of noobs who apparently have to use their brain more than other group , thus discovery of stone weapon that increase attack rate by 200%(i am jus bs) and attack by 500% and thus we kept evolve in our brain power and thus modern human . dunch noe if you guy notices , children seems to get cleverer .

so now we get our modern day human , chimps , gorrila. may sound absurb to u but i get my ideas watching animal planets i think ..

apparently theres this huge lizard .. ( forgotten wad species it is , so lets call it lizard) there are 3 type , one of them are land lizard and it's body adapt to hunting on land , their body part have evolve to help them hunt better on land , while the 2nd type are 'water lizard' and it hunt in the water instead.

i cant provide much detail becos i watch it long ago but i am not making it up.

the 3rd lizard apparently found to be their ancestor , have parts from this 2 lizard .. (my english is bad i know ) , well , erm hybrid ? it can hunt both in the land and water .. so i hope you can see why i get my idea from

It would be nice, but most of them are not capable of doing so. It requires intelligent and unbiased thought. Which is sad, since evolution is now a proven fact and anyone who advocates creationism is simply showing his ignorance.
