I can't wait till the rapture. The same people who are on here "debating" whether there will be one or not, will be freaking out. As (hopefully) millions of Americans (and other nationalities) will suddenly disappear, with no trace. Mass turmoil and confusion. I hope we get to watch. The same people who claim there is no God, will be crying out to One then. Well lets hope for their sake.
'L' is correct in a way. There will be Christians in the tribulation. Only those that become Christians after the rapture. Anybody who has accepted Jesus at the point of the rapture will obviously be raptured.
Then there will be some curious fellows who go and read the good book for answers after millions of people vanish, and they become christians. Then there will be the 144,000 witnesses who go across the world leading many to Christ. So yes there will be christians getting their heads chopped off during the tribulation period.

Well, if Catholics don't make the cut, it doesn't leave much hope for offshoots of Catholicism - oh wait, that means all Christians! So I guess no-one will be included. Not too worried anyway since the whole rapture nonsense is just a bunch of modern manmade traditions, with no basis in Scripture or genuine Christian teaching.

Has anyone read The Rapture Trap by Dr. Paul Thigpen? Every Christian should. It's an excellent, authoritative treatment of this false theology, from a solid Christian perspective.

At the war of armegeddon, babylon the great the mother of harlots will fall Rev 17:5

Babylon the great is all false religions of the earth. They will be distroyed by the political elements of the earth. Every one is told to get away from her if you don't want to be distroyed, Rev 18:4. But then all the kings of the earth will begin to wage war with the one seated on the throne which is Jesus Christ Rev18. There will be a great crowd of people who will servive the war. Theres no such thing as the rapture that is a fasle teaching and thats why all the religions of the earth will be distroyed. If you really want to know whats going to happen after the great day of God Almighty I will be glade to send you a book called " Revelation at Hand."

Sincerely yours,

The rapture has nothing to do with which religious organisation you belong too. Mormans, pentecostals, baptists, anglicans, catholics you name it. God does not discrimanate on religious grounds. In fact when Christ was on earth he had nothing to do with religion at all. Keep that in mind. It was religion that put Christ on the cross.

The more relevant question and one thats thought provoking is this. Do you believe in God? The reason i ask that is because of one simple quote from the Bible that suggests you need to be, to be in the rapture.

1 Thess. 4:14-17

"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus"

"For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will by no means precede those who are asleep"

For the Lord himself will descend from the Heaven, with a shout , with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first"

"Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus be with the Lord forever"

I think the biggest challenge is that despite those that think this is a whole lot of cobblers, that its a airy fairy tale that has no meaning other than a dream, there are some serious questions you might need to ask yourself. Why is this mentioned in Gods book in the first place.? What if it was true? If the Bible is host to 300 prophecies mentioned in the old testiment that have come true about Christs first coming, then why wouldnt this prediction be also true? Isnt it better to be sure and know where you are going than to say no, i dont believe it and still wonder?

Think of this scripture that say "greater is he thats within you than he thats in the world" This has nothing to do with religion but everything to do with your belief in God as a personal choice. Cheers.

Hello,

The word rapture is not in the bible. Nobody is going anywhere; TV evangelist s from Tammy Fay to Jerry Falwell didn't make the rapture. There is no world government or Anti - Christ to be worshiped yet and all I know of so far is
that these theories are dying off and everyone concerned are still going into the ground... not disappearring in thin air.
According to Revelation that should all have happened in the late first century but we are still waiting.

Cheers,

Michael

Denominations won't be raptured, people will.

Only those people who are born again followers of the Lord Jesus Christ will be raptured.

It won't matter what kind of church they attend.

I believe that there will not be a rapture and that Christians will be persecuted and killed if they do not wear the mark of the beast. Christians will be in the tribulation. Read your Bible.

Religion isn't what is going to save a person. Mormons, some Catholics, Jehoviah's Witnesses, etc...compare their doctrines to what the Bible says and you can get a good idea of what is going to happen. Someone who follows the word of God and seeks the Truth will be saved. False religions and teachers and those that follow them will not be saved.

This portrays it very well:

Setting yourself up to judge what God is going to do creates quite an issue for yourself, my friend. Have you read James 2:10? It has an interesting point, which you might want to explore for your own benefit and well being.

Now, as a Christian I think there is one simple guideline for being Christian, and that can be read in John 3:16.

As a helpful suggestion, no way a command or judgment of your worth as a human or a Christian, I think we all probably have enough to do in trying to be better people ourselves, help others and stop worrying about theoretical instances of what God might do, or not do to others.

I agree with the guy that said none. Jesus will tell the people on judement day, "I brought you a message to return to worshipping God, but you followed the teachings of false prophets and false teachers and began worshiping me, a servant of God." The day of rapture, another story or a true prophecy????? U decide.
