no you eat yogurt to replace the good bacteria that the antibiotics kill in your digestive system because you will get diarrhea from the antibiotics. if you are looking for antibiotic effects take herbal supplements echinacea and olive leaf. they aren't actually antibiotics they boost your immune system, and take a vitamin supplement as well.
and cold and flu are viruses that antibiotics don't help with anyway so use these supplements to boost your immune system instead to get past the virus instead of antibiotics that kill bacteria since a virus and bacteria are two different things.

I would not think so as when you have the flu you have extra mucus secreations, milk products increase these. Are you not thinking of probiotic as in good bacteria for the gut, many people eat yougurt when taking anti biotics to re populate the good bacteria in the gut which is wiped out by the anti b's

Yogurt is healthy, there are so many reasons, I can't remember them at this time, the people above me share some really good answers. A good probiotic would be called "Primal Defense"
