It stands to reason that they would. I mean, I've never heard anything about "memory wiping" those Left Behind™.

It's amazing what Tim Lahaye, through his books, has made people believe and not just him, countless pastors out there. 1 Thessalonians 4 never gave a "time" when this would happen so everyone assumes that "those who are left" will go on to endure the 7 years of tribulation. How does one know that it wouldn't happen at the end of tribulation instead? Even according to Revelation, a book of apacolyptic literature (meaning extreme imagery and still people take it as literal), it puts the final judgment and resurrection (Rev. 20) after the 7 years of tribulation. If there was a previous rapture, then that theology would imply that there are two resurrections, one when the rapture occured, and the other after tribulation, when apparently more people are resurrected and judged including those who were dead which 1 Thes 4 mentions those alive and dead. The Tim Lahaye theology just doesn't hold up if people just could think and read for themselves. The books are great - I've read them all. I used to believe in the same theology, but one day I read for myself and started asking questions and found out it doesn't add up. It contradicts itself.

I believe so... which will be a problem for the antichrist....

I believe that while many will accept the explanation of where we have gone, by the time they begin to doubt, it will be because they will be comparing what they hear to what they had heard from their friend or family member and they will begin to question "truth" of what they are currently being told and what they knew and sensed from the departed.

Which means, that satan will have to "purge" again and again till memory is gone of the people whom have left.

Others will accept the explanations given with open arms. (didn't they always SAY that those people were odd?)

Peace be with you :)

The rapture is a Jesuit instigated lie to point the finger away from the pope, who is antichrist.

Stands to reason if you're looking for a future bad guy, you won't notice the one right under your nose.
