In the interest of hygiene and grooming, maintaining some kind of upkeep with your pubic area is recommended. But this can be as simple as trimming and shaving the edges. If you don't feel comfortable completely shaving the area, don't let your boyfriend pressure you into doing it. Sure, he can influence you a bit on your decision, maybe moreso on other, trivial things. But a girl's private regions are her own business. You do to them what you want to do, because it's YOUR body, not his.
Let him know that if he really cares for and respects you, he will quit his whining and let you deal with it however you see fit. This in itself is a petty thing to break up with a guy over, but if you see a trend (ex: he needs to control everything about you, needs to know where you are every second of the day, won't let you make decisions yourself), give your relationship some serious thought. If he's the good guy you think he is, eventually he'll realize that he loves you for you, without you changing a thing.
(However, I'd give him some time and obvious hints to get to that realization. He is, after all, a guy. =])

There are alot of guys out there who dont really like to have all of the extra hairs if you know what i mean. Try trimming with scissors or something. But if he wants you to get a Brazilian bikini wax type treatment just tell him the day he waxes his area will be the day you wax yours. that should shut him up.

Do what you feel is right. If you don't want to shave then just tell him. If he really loves and cares about you he'll respect that.

If you honestly don't want to do it, don't do it. It is no ones right to tell you to do something to your body. If he uses your relationship as a vice, then he obviously only wants control. If you don't want to shave, don't.

i would say try a compromise. maybe instead of shaving, try just a trim. maybe that will satisfy him. i'm not being vulgar but i have have just recently had this discussion at home myself. not all men prefer the smooth as a baby's butt look. but not all of us want the 70's free spirit look either. lol

Maybe you should stop sleeping with horny selfish boys. IF you date a person for a long time, get to know him in more meaningful ways before becoming intimate with him, and then marry him before having sex with him, I think that you'll find that he's less likely to put such silly pressures on you to do something so superficial and meaningless.
Doesn't that sort of describe your entire relationship?

i meen come on...just shave it.It'll look much better. And there's nothing wrong with shaving.Make him shave or something...that would be a pretty stupid reason to break up if u REALLY LOVE HIM now wouldn't it???Is he really worth leaving over something like shaving??? think about this one more time and then make up ur mind???
