I just went to the eye docter to get contact lense fitted for the first time. After he put it in and took it out, i had a massive headache and nausea feeling. Am i allergic to the solution he used? or is it usual since im not use to contacts?

Allergy would cause pinkish eyes and eye discomfort not headache and nausea. Are you prone to migraine? It could have been migraine, unrelated to the contacts.

If not migraine, perhaps you came close to fainting. It is not uncommon for people to faint when something cold touches the eye or if a little nervous about the doctor touching the eye. It is unlikely to happen when you put them in yourself.

I think that the prescription must be the problem, not the lense.
You feel dizzy for the prescription and that gives you nausea and headache. Try to adapt to them, if not , go to your doctor and check the prescription.
You have to be relaxed not tired when you go the dr. for make the prescription. If you're stressed you see less, then after "in a normal day" you have other vision and you cannot adapt to your contacts or glasses.
I had that problem many times. I went to the dr. after driving a lot,in a hurry and after that my prescription was a disaster because i was so stressed.
I hope this helps.

You could certainly be allergic to contacts...it's why Lisa Loeb wears glasses...she's allergic to her contacts. You're not alone! ;)

I never felt any of that on my first try. Ask your eye doctor.
