She is on her 13th day (and has been artificially inseminated on day 13) and has not had as much of an appetite since day 11. She only seems interested in the raw meat.

That is very normal, while my dog was in heat she didn't want to eat almost the whole time 3 weeks. She just picked at her food. After that she was fine. Now she has a very normal appetite. So don't worry, your girl is fine! All the best;~)

Hello! Think about it, when most of us are near our time of month, we get really hungry right before, then all of a sudden we loose our appetites once it starts. Maybe try giving her a"little" sugar to give her some energy, energy = apetite. Even if it may be a small banana. A banana works for me, and when I had kittens or puppies, if they were weak or had small apetites, sugar always helped revive them back to normal. I always had put a little sugar in the water in an eye dropper. You could always put a small teaspoon or so in her water bowl, or like I said, a bana. "NEVER give an animal cafein though." Hope she does well.

Mine end ingesting with regard to the time they are bred and then %. returned up for a pair of weeks. At approximately 4-5 weeks alongside of their being pregnant they are going to replace into choosy. If no longer bred they are going to start up returned ingesting their typical rations approximately 2-3 weeks after their warmth cycle is over. I save a computer with all the little products of advice on my dogs so i do no longer freak out the subsequent time attempting to bear in concepts in the event that they did something till now or no longer. IE- I even have one lady who the finished time she's in warmth poops in her crate! would not count if she purely went out and did her organization and is barely in for 20 minutes, she poops a minimum of as quickly as an afternoon in her crate! GRRRRR!!! as quickly as she is bred for the 1st time she stops!

It even happens with people who are in heat. Given a choice they have better things to do than eat meals.

She might not feel too hot because of the condition her body is in, with the swelling and what not. Not to mention the medical stuff going on.
