What is a good widely available acne remedy I can buy?

Like something I can buy at a Duane Reade, CVS/Pharmacy, or Rite Aid, something that is quick and easy, not TOO mich money, and also something that will make an acne pimple smaller overnight. I am not talking Proactive or Frutels here. Thank you :)

I no this sounds silly. Rub toothpaste on the pimple. Wash it off in the morning. Bet you see a big difference.

Something with benzoyl peroxide. I have also heard that putting regular toothpaste on it for several minutes can help.
