Since Jet-Airways have started their North American sector this August, and also will be starting other Routes , LA to Shanghai and SanFriscisco to Shanghai , + Toronto to Mumbai etc - I would like those who have travelled or those with some knowledge about this airline to answer this question.
Do you think they will have good loads? Will this airline be able to continue as the world economy is going thru quite a crunch , as one reads from the papers as well as other media.
I understand this airline is doing well in the Domestic sector but will it enjoy the same for the international routes?
Will the Indians living in North America support the airline? or will they prefer other airlines for their traveling needs?
would you travel with this airline ? If so your reasons please.
Thanks

Yes this will be a top hit as the first flight Mumbai-Brussels-Newark is already been liked. 5th Sep is starting of Delhi-Brussels-Toronto. They will increase the frequency once they get the traffic rights. This Airline is no doubt one the best airline on the indian skies but internationally it will do very well as its no match to the American / European carriers in terms of quality & service.

My family in particular is not fond of having to stop in Europe on their way to India. They really like the new non-stops to India offered by Air India, Continental, American and Delta. If Jet can offer a few non-stop flights from the U.S., bypassing Europe, then they would at least win my family. But for now, we're booked on Continental's non-stop this coming winter.

Not if their website is so slow!!!! If the fares are right and their ontime performance is acceptable, then they should be successful. The US market for airline travel has turned into such a 'commodity driven' price war that airplanes beat the bus, train, and 'drive yourself' options every day.
