thanks for all the replies,..But, the whole office is on vacation next week..By the way,the crack on the temp isn't exposing the root canal .I'm just afraid that it might break completely.And if I were to go to another dentist, will that be out of the poket money?? how much? Thanks .again

Call the office and see if they have a dentist filling in for him or another dentist you could see at that office. If not, just go to another dental office. Don't leave your tooth like that, it could get infected.

You will need to have that taken care of so call the office anyways. They will have instructions for an emergency. Usually they have another dentist on stand by for them.

You should call any way. There should be someone else covering when he is gone. You may have to make a point of the problem and that you need immediate help.
