It could be a protected CD. Some music/movie CDs/DVDs cannot be played on comps to prevevent copying and piracy. If an older one will play then you have a protected disc.

that's the cd-tension that can't be taught the tutorial on the cd... it rather is likely the: ~education can't be be taught ~the cd is unclean , or scratched ~or the cd-tension is dusty... i doubt that's the tutorial that can't be be taught so bypass that... to bathe the cd, wipe it with a organic and organic wool cloth (or some difficulty that isn't injury the cd) Then attempt back... to envision if the cd is scratched, ensure the floor of the cd, to envision any marks on it... if there is.. then there is an danger which you would be waiting to on no account use it back... as for the cd-tension, in basic terms attempt it with yet yet another cd, and ensure if it rather works.. want i've got have been given helped =D Chrono

Make sure to check that the CD's are not scrathed, and make sure that they are "CD-R" or "DVD-R" so that they are more likely to work on your computer. If that does not work, you may need to change the program that you open the CD's with. If that still doesn't work, I recommend that you change the CD-burner. Hope this helps.
Also, make sure that the CD is not scratched, that's a mistake that most of us make.

Hey...
1. try to insert another CD
---
if it is work, then, the error must be with the previous CD.
2. if you still can't play all the CDs, there's a huge possibilities
that your CD-ROM is broken.
3. or maybe, you insert a DVD to a CD-ROM .. *may be..

Maybe it really is working and is not supposed to load. If that is the case, go on my computer and look under "devices with removable storage" for an icon. double click that icon and that should initiate the program.
