Propranolol is what is used. It does not relieve fear as much as it reduces physical manifestations of stress, like heart pounding and sweaty palms.

If you decide to use this, I recommend a low dose, and test it on yourself in advance (for example, in an oral exam prep class) to make sure you don't, say, brady down and pass out (you'd hate to do that on the real exam, wouldn't you?!) Keep in mind the level of stress during prep is not the same as during the exam itself.

I used propranolol on my oral boards, but I'm so cautious with meds I underdosed, and it didn't do much. But I passed anyway! After the first session I forgot about it and did fine.

Good luck!

beta blockers block the effects of epinephrine (adrenaline) which might make you more relaxed. use kava instead, if you can find it.
