If you're looking to make your ca accelerate faster nothing is going to give you more bang for the buck then changing the rear end gears. Going to 3.73 or 4.10 gears is going to make your car noticeable quicker when accelerating. Most other cheap mods are not going to increase power enough to even notice unless you do several at once.
The down side to doing this is your car is going to rev up higher on the highway and you're going to get fewer mpg then with the stock gears. It may cost you some top speed as well but if you're only concerned about performance then rear end gears are practically a must. The kit is going to set you back about $300 and probably about $200 to $300 to get them installed but you will feel a big difference when accelerating.

start with the exhaust and cold air intake. then you can move to a cam, throttle body spacer and so on......go to summit.com or jegs.com and read and learn
