The question is not about my grades, because I'm an A student. It's not about money, because I offered to pay for the expenses since I sold two of my laptops. The problem isn't my dad, it's my mom. She says I don't do anything around the house. i told her that she doesn't take notice of what I do. I am extremely busy with my career. I ma an actor and in between school, homework, acting homework and acting class, I can barely even find time to eat and sleep. let alone clean and do chores. I am so busy at times I eat late. What do i do? I need a break. I need to go to the concert.

how old are you? If you want to be an actor you'll need to work triple time. Help more around the house or dont leave a mess behind you. I dont recommend that you just go. You;ll get in trouble. Why do you want more grief? Id base my effort on If the band really is worth it. Pick and choose your battles

I understand all ur saying, but the truth is: if ur in her house, and under 18 (and that doesnt even matter if ur living at home).... then u have to respect and honor your mom and dad. Maybe u do things YOU want to do around the house, but ur not doing things SHE needs you to do to help. She is not your maid, taxi, cook, etc... she is YOUR MOTHER, MOM and you need to honor her. See what SHE wants you to do or to help her with, and a career? I understand, but if ur under 18 and at home... its called high school and learning and growing... home, family come first.... when ur an adult and out on your own, you can make your own decisions. Thats just the facts...

Talk to your mom one and one, and really LISTEN!!

I can't understand why you are dependent on your parents to give permission to go to a concert. i can go to a concert anytime i want without even telling my parents. because i am independent. the answer to your problem is you will have the freedom to do anything you want if you are independent.
ie if you live in your own apt and have your own car and money, how would they even know if you went to a concert?
i don't understand why they have control over you.
PS you should do your share of housework or more, especially if you're not paying rent or utilities. your mom is busy too, stop sticking her with your dishes and laundry. that's not mature.

my parents were stricked so i woulld have my friends parents call and ask if i could come over or go do something with there daughter to certian things. and they would always say yes cause its the other parent asking and of course they trust the parents. have your friends parents ask your parents to have you tag along so your friend isnt alone or something. cause really nothing can get through to the parents unless there is an adult asking. at lease with mine. but you know how your parents are.
