you cant solve it

its history now, my geuss is it the victim of abuse (impact or dropping them snaps the lens moving things)

Oh boy! I had this happen to one of my many cameras while I was on vacation. So, I brought it into one of our local camera shops. They took a look at it and said that the lense had been compressed (most likely while it was in my suitcase). They could fix it by replacing the lense. However, it was actually cheeper to just buy myself a new, and better, camera.

Time for a trip to the repair shop. Likely cost more than buying a new camera.
