The rule is that you have to wait 12 months, to make sure that you aren't going to come down with something. Personally, I think the rule is a bit insulting to reputable, licensed artists, but it's in place because of all the 'scratch' artists out there, who give tattoo's in their basements and bedrooms, without proper training, a license, or sterillization equipment.

You can donate blood, you just have to wait for about a year or so..then you can give as much blood as you can.

My dad gives blood every time he's allowed too. They call him when he's legally allowed and he gives his blood. he has 2 tattoo and he's just fine. Whoever told you that is retarded

you have to wait for 6 mnths to a yr, to make sure you don't have hepititis from the tattoo needles ( hepititis will keep you from donating blood.)
