I Can do a toe-touch but i cant get my legs very high...i need a good work out tht i can do at home every night cheerleadig starts i 15 daysss

Go running to work on your endurance, and do lots of stretching, push ups, and crunch variations.

I also agree that the Firm videos are a good choice. I used to use those for my workout when I cheered.

Get the old Firm videos from the 1980's early 90's. I went from 183 to 130 by doing these for 4 years. They are designed to make your body like a dancer. You do aerobics with with weight training at the same time but the moves you do shape your body. I can now do the splits in every direction and do kicks higher than when I was on drill team in high school. Check out the forum on ivillage:

I guarantee you will see the results. I went to not being able to run a mile to a top athlete. Of course it took a lot of hard work and determination but I stuck to the firm videos and reshaped my body before finally moving on to more advance weight lifting and cardio vascular routines in the gym.

Something I found makes my toe touches a lot higher is to first stretch out your legs really well. Then get a chair with a back on it and grab the top of it and do about 5 toe touches in a row. Then try a few without the chair. Repeat until you get tired. If you keep doing that they will def be higher. =]
