To get votes for the next election?? It's an old method the Republicans have also used, and very hypocritical.

Rudy Guliani welcomed illegal immigrants when he was mayor of New York, and Romney hired a bunch of illegal Guatemalans to do landscaping on his house. And now to get votes from the conservative right, they hate them?? But we know if they get elected just like Bush they're not going to do anything, because big business loves illegal workers.
Serves them right if Hillary or Obama get elected.

This issue is previous merely Republican or Democrat. The illegals won't be able to vote so they do no longer count quantity. If the different hispanics % to get stupid approximately it then they are going to finally lose. it quite is in honestly everyone's appropriate interest to crack down on the illegals (and not all of them are hispanic). we don't % this u . s . overrun by foreign places criminals, and if the hispanics % illegals overrunning the country then they are portion of the issue too. The Arizona regulation isn't silly; it mirrors Federal regulation. it quite is a few thing we % badly in each and every state. in trouble-free terms people who % the country overrun by foreign places criminals could think of the regulation is silly.

I don't think it is bashing as you call it. In my area the Hispanics do enough to demean themselves they don't need help from anyone else. It is not bashing to get people who are breaking the law. It isn't just the Hispanics but they are the ones coming here with the most numbers. Perhaps they would get more sympathy if they were fleeing religious persecution or communism but I'm not really sure why they want to be here but still cling to the country they left behind. This is a serious problem that involves other issues than hate. Those of us who are Republicans don't really view those people as a true Republican so that argument is not really valid in my book. Sorry

Once again? Republicans have never "bashed Hispanics"!
That's a complete lie.

Some Republicans (and some Democrats, I might remind you) have been bashing illegal immigrants. If anyone is making that connection to Hispanics, it's you, because I don't make that assumption. We all know that illegal immigrants come from many countries, but yes, there are more from Mexico than many places, just because that nation is so close to ours.

Yes, we do expect immigrants to follow the law and come to this country through the proper process. Explain why that's wrong. Explain why it is "hatred" to expect people to follow normal laws. Explain why you think you can get away with this hate speech against Republicans. You lie and make up stories, and bash Republicans, and you make out like you're all innocent. Serves you right if Giuliani or Romney get elected.

Republicans are the party of the wealthy on the most part. That and the moral majority, the ultra right wing. There is the Log Cabin Group, a group of wealthy black people who are Republicans, but in the past few years they have been voting Democratic. The republicans may try and talk big about helping, but you know they aren't going to. They are the ones who pass legislation to help the rich pay less taxes. Under them the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. If it was up to them we wouldn't have any social security. It isn't just the hispanics that are being bashed, it's anyone who doesn't fit in their mold.

No, I think liberal democrats are bashing a hispanic: Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. He was appointed by which president? Oh yes, that would be President Bush. That is one of the highest positions a hispanic has ever held in our government. Hmmm.....

Oh for the love---No one said they hate HISPANICS, they hate ILLEGALS! They're two different things (but the gap is rapidly closing between the two).
