Only a veterinary examination can determine the true cause of your kitten's behavior changes. If she is catching mice and eating them during the day she will not be hungry in the evenings ( but that might not be so good if the mice were full of poisons). Most kittens, however, are playful when their owners are around. A veterinary visit would certainly be in order. Best wishes.

Maybe she's pregnant. When cats get pregnant they will keep to themselves, not eat as much and sleep, and be protective over themselves more than usual. If you know that can't be, just take her to the vet.

You should take her to your local vet. It is not normal for any of this behavior and until a good exam and possibly bloodwork is done, it could be anything, but it does sound serious.

Make sure your cat has some dry cat food to eat. It keeps their teeth clean. Otherwise their gums will get infected, that could be the problem.

change her feeding bowls to paper plates they will like it bette, even with drinks. and make your homemade foods that you would be able to eat. You cant eat pet food because they add chemicals to them. Go to the web and look it up.

My cat had the same symptoms. She was diagnosed with feline leukemia. I had to put her to sleep. (sad)
