Mr Prime Minister you recently declared yourself a committed Christian during the telecast debate with Mr Rudd. I would like to know how you define a committed Christian? Also many have speculated that you are a born again Christian yet you have pledged $35 million in total to the Catholic church. I am curious which of these (if any) has any truth to them?

Many Catholics are born again. They do teach that in the Catholic Church. My grandma was one of those. I define a committed Christian as one who believes in Jesus, is born again, reads the Bible daily, prays daily, and worships daily. A committed Christian will also share his or her faith if the opportunity arises. That person will look for such opportunities and pray for God to send them those opportunities, although I get shy and sometimes ask God not to send me those opportunities. I really have to grow out of that particular sinful habit. I've gotten better but I'm still not over that. All Christians have their struggles. A committed Christian wants to overcome those struggles. A faker could care less whether they overcome the struggle or not. Committed Christians attend church at least once a week also, or if they can't, then they make sure to spend time with other believers every week. Generally speaking, committed Christians go to church on Sunday mornings and many times on Sunday nights as well as another day during the week. I go four times a week. Sunday morning and evening, Monday night, and Wednesday night. I am a youth leader, so I teach Sunday School for teenagers before the Sunday service and lead the youth group on Wednesday nights. I consider myself a committed Christian, although I haven't really shared my faith much lately. I don't think that gov't should donate money to any particular church though. Separation of church and state is good in that sense. It doesn't mean that Christian values shouldn't be reflected in gov't but it does mean that the state shouldn't support any particular church.

particular, Christians like a number of different human beings sin and specifically situations even commit homicide. The degree of a reliable Christian is what they do as quickly as they have sinned. in the event that they're a real Christian than they are going to often repent (admit that what they did became into incorrect, do what they are able to to repair the wear, and take measures to end themselves from doing the comparable ingredient returned). Moses and David the two commited homicide, yet they repented and made their peace with God. God suggested as David "a guy after my own coronary heart"

A committed person, or should I say devout? will be respectful and follow the doctrines on which the religion was founded, and have faith in the god they worship.

A committed Christian is one that keeps his life in God's hands and lives a life of Christ. How much they love God and how much God loves them shows through.
