ok, maybe my question should be : why do religious people think they have a sense of humor??

I have never seen one place in any Bible where The God of Hebrews, Christians, and Muslims, or Moses, or Jesus, or Mohamed, can be quoted as saying something humorous.

Religion does not remove a person's sense of humor. Go look at their clothes as they leave church this coming Sunday morning. You can't tell me they don't have a sense of humor (or perhaps a Wal-mart credit card) after seeing that.

Who says people who believe in God don't have a sense of humor? Even God has a sense of humor....look at the platypus...!

Not with me .. I have a sense of humor. And love to laugh, and at stupid, sick jokes. I am still human and believing that God made people with sense of humors to make us laugh is part of being happy.

It doesn't. What removes a believers sense of humor is being called ignorant. It is being blamed for all of the evil in the world (still haven't figured that one out). It's having argumentative atheists trying to IM you when you are online months after you post your one and only question only to have them get vulgar with you when you tell them you are not interested in an argument after they DEMAND you answer their rhetorical questions.
Other than that , we have marvellous senses of humor. Matter of fact, I perform on a regular basis in my local theater in , guess what; Comedies.

I have a GREAT sense of humor. I'm just sick and tired of people thinking it's funny to make fun of me just because I happen to believe in God. Most people are being rude trying to cover it up and make it look like a joke.

I go to P/S to find my sense of humor. R/S is a place where I have to be careful not to take someone's question lightly.

On the contrary, when you're filled with the joy of the Lord you are able to find the humor in lots of things-especially when you are being tested.
