I am 14 years old and I am a girl. I have a lot of lower back pain. I do not know why it is there. At night it is the WORST. I can not even sit against a wall. Does anyone know what this might be?? It is my lower and middle back.

Go to a good chiropractor and have it evaulated. Might just need adjusting. Or go to your family Dr. You should not ignore back pain like that.

See a doctor soon!!!!!!
Your spine has small pads in betwen the bones. Inside these pads is a cushioning like jelly and the outside is like leather. If you hurt your back sometimes the jelly is pressed out into a buldge.
Down your spine runs a lagre group of nerves. When this buldge press against the nerves you feel pain. If you keep injuring you back long enough the jelly will spew out and harden like crab meat inside you spinal canal and rub against those nerves. You will not be able to walk, lay, or ride in a car because any movement will cause pain.
Only 20 % of back operations are sucessful, so aviod an operation at all cost. SEE A DOCTOR NOW!
Remember if you see a surgeon you most likely will get cut.
Thats what surgeons do. Traction maybe what you need right now.
Sleep depervation will be your worst enemy with a back injury. Lack of sleep because of pain will make you partically carzy over time.

How is your posture? If you slump a lot, sit a lot hunched over, etc. you are pulling your muscles out of place. try sitting and standing straight, and take breaks so you do not sit in one position for long. meanwhile, stretch your back muscles by laying on the floor, pull your knees up to your chest and hold them there with your arms. relax and stay like that for at least a minute, then slowly put your legs back down. if your hamstrings are tight it will affect your back too, so stretch them by touching your toes - again, stay in that position for at least one minute and rise very slowly when done. When you lift anything, keep your back straight and lift using your legs too, so you don't pull those back muscles. hope this helps.

I have a back problem and see a chiropractor and I get relief. I go when I have to.
Did you fall when you were younger? Try and think back how you could have hurt your back. When you lay on your back put a pillow under your knees.

It could be as simple as posture, poor body mechanics, weak core muscles. An orthopedic could be in order, which they may order some PT. Good Luck
