I am making chocolate chip cookies. my recipe says to use granulated sugar, can i use raw sugar?

Yes, just make sure that you cream your shortening sugar and eggs together very well before adding your flour - the raw sugar will not dissolve as quickly and if you don't cream it well enough you will have crunchy sugar granules in your cookies!

Yes you can. Raw sugar can be used in place of granulated sugar in pretty much any recipe.

yes, you can but you might have crunchy little pieces of sugar in it, which are pretty tasty anyway.
