a while back, I started using a strong cleansing shampoo on my head, called pantene purity. over time after using it i noticed the shape of my hair changing over time, which i didnt think much of. Then i started noticing my hair really thinning in certain areas, even along the sides and back of my scalp where i applied the shampoo with my hands.
I quit using a year ago, and it is still somewhat thin, and I switched to all natural shampoo. I should also say, that I used to have REALLY thick hair all over my scalp, and i still do on the top mostly. But I still have thinning in certain areas like the sides and back. Also, Pantene changed the shampoos ingredients over time and I have heard of other people complaining about it as well. Is it possible for my hair to grow back the way it used to be??

Yeah of course, hair never stops growing. What you were using was obviously, for some reason, stunting the growth of your hair. Jus remember to eat lots of nutritious foods full of vitamins because that is what REALLY makes your hair grow and become shiny and healthy. Maybe you weren't getting enough iron?
