I've only just started running cross country this beggining of the summer and my calves have gotten pretty big. I'm 13 years old, a girl, 5 feet, and 100 pounds. How do I get lean legs, not bulky????

Your calves aren't fat, they're muscular. It's your genetics, which leaves you with two choices: accept the size of your calves or stop running.

the potential for muscle growth is determined by the length of the tendon that attaches the calf muscle to the bone. long muscle bellies have the greatest potential for growth.
