My mother in law died 3 month ago, oh how I miss her, and think about often. I know Life is but a preparation for death. But why did she have to die so young? she was only 77 many years ahead I am sure, she just went in for a knee replacement, and she was in good health, and I am at loss at what happened?

to the saint my mother in law was better to me than my own mother, I married her only son and I loved her dearly, It hurts me that people can not believe I loved her, my own mother beat me, broke my ribs, and drank all the time, and could care less if I was alive now, I call her, but she doesn't call me. thanks for letting me get off the steam.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. My parents are both deceased, so I know how it is to lose those we love and how it is to miss them. The only thing that makes it more bearable is time.

I'm also sorry to hear about your real mother. The good news for you is that God has lifted you up and saved you and wrapped you in His love. Look at it this way, the separation is temporary. You'll see your mother-in-law in Heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your mother in law was a Christian, because if she was, she's up there with Jesus now. I also hope you're a Christian, cause if you are, you will see her again one day. We only have an alotted amount of time on this earth, and then Jesus will call us home. We can't know when or how, but just draw comfort from the fact that she is much happier.

The average age for a woman is still 78. She did well... she could have been hit by a bus at 50. I'm not trying to diminish your grief, but try to be glad for the time you had with her. The human body is very complex... if you are looking for answers, did you have an autopsy preformed?

Death is not natural, it is a condition related to sin that was given to us threw Adam.
It is only natural to mourn a loved one.
Jesus was sent here to earth for several reasons, one was to buy the right to give mankind hope of eternal life, he referred to himself as the Resurrection and the life.
Because of Jesus Ransom Sacrifice, mankind has a hope that we never could have received without him.
Part of the hope is seeing our loved ones resurrected here on a paradise earth with us Forever!
After all, the bible tells us that Jehovah put it in our hearts to live forever. Imagine, the Great God and Creator, Jehovah, yearns for us to learn about him so that he can grant us ever lasting life here on earth and giving us back our dead loved ones too.

No one knows what happens since no one has ever returned to tell us. ( although some nutballs will try to tell you) I am sorry about your mother in law. But at least she didnt have to linger incapacitated in a nursing home for years as many miserable old people do. ( just trying to cheer you up a little but i guess that doesnt help you feel better)

Our fleshy brain can only remember our birth to our death, and even then not all of it.

Part of our predestined purpose for being upon the earth is to learn opposition in all things. While we are in mortality, we experience the opposite of an eternal body that does not die or sicken. In these bodies, we can experience the effects of death and sickness.

If happiness is to be our end, and for this reason we were created, then eternal life is preferred. Most see death as the end of their existence. This is not so.

If we are children (creations) of God, then it follows that the course of our nature is to become like our Creator, thus all becoming Godlike in nature; or according to eternal law, all achieving eternal happiness according to our individual desires of happiness. The work of God and all the angels is to help sustain us in this pursuit of eternal life (happiness) and to reach this end.

The purpose and end of all life and creation is to exist forever in happiness, a state otherwise referred to by prophets as “salvation” or “eternal life.” It is not in God’s plan to allow us to have eternal bodies and live on eternal planets unless we can do so without causing problems for each other.

Therefore, it is not possible to obtain an eternal body until we can prove by the way we live in mortality that we can be trusted not to be a problem to our fellow beings in the third estate.

If you desire, you will be able to see her again, as we will eventually all be resurrected and live forever in happiness once our "probation" is over. In the meantime, here's a hug across the cyberspace.

What you need to know is bad things sometimes happen to good people and life is but a vapor (or a mist) it is here for a little while and poof it's gone . We never know how long we have so we need to be prepared for what comes next.

1. I must realize that in my present condition I am a sinner before God. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3.23.)
2. I cannot save myself from eternal punishment in hell "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord: (Romans 6:23)
3. Christ has paid for my sins and my punishment with His death on the cross. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus should not perish, but have everlasting life: "(John 3:16)
4. I must accept His crucifixion as payment for my sins, personally. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13)
If you would like to have assurance of eternal life, then pray this prayer: "Lord, I know I am a sinner. I believe Your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and make me a new person. I commit my life to you today. Amen,"

Jesus told what happens in the sixteenth chapter of Luke:

The Rich Man and Lazarus

19"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23In hell,[a] where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'

25"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'

27"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'

29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'

30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'

31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

The important thing now is to make sure you and the rest of your family are ready to be face to face with God, since we don't know when that will happen to any of us.

Please don't fall the line that some churches still use, "Give us some money and we'll get your mother in law out of hell or purgatory."

someone once said not to life too seriously because no body gets out alive...that is yes the saddest and most truthful part of our lives we each face that death ultimately wins...no matter if we pay it no mind or fret over it ...the only thing i see to our advantage, should we allow ,is to cherish and use the memory of someone's goodness that they so kindly and generously shared with us and spread it around with the folks we come in contact with everyday...it is so easy for many of us to be kind to our friends ,the people that already shown us their approval....but what about the strangers and folks who we know is only a chance meeting...do they not deserve kindness just because you know you will never see them again...take the kindness of someone's life and allow that memory and feeling to live on ...share your smile with everyone

I am sorry for your loss. We are only here during the time of a vapor from our tea, or any other fast pace you might think.

Remember happy memories of her and visit them often. It will help you go on with life.
