Again I ask you to deal with THE LORD GOD and why are you always devil oriented. Why not ask dealling with GOD instead. Think of GOD and put your heart to GOD. I repeat do not have thoughts about the devil but always with THE LORD GOD. Go the the side of THE HOLY SPIRIT. Leave your thoughts about the devil.

yes i do see the evil and bad things happening around me but then isn't we that give this more power because we focus more on the bad doings than we do on the folks doing kindness and good will...everything has its opposite so yes where there is good there is evil...trouble is how we walk away with what we witnessed... what gave us the stronger impression...9 times outta 10 when the story is retold the evil will get the top booking and unfortunately the kind part, if not majorly over looked ,it will be thought of as merely the right thing to do....just the person was "lucky" enough to be there to take part in that role...so one may ask the question is it not us that allow the devil to seemingly win ...by allowing the counter act,the courageous kind act to be somehow lost and seem to escape without proper notice....and that happens more every day than people are willing to admit ....just think to yourself how many times someone allowed you to go 1st in a line...or let you out in at a busy intersection or just shared a piece of their heart with a cost of a their smile...so the next time you are caught in the middle of this so called "evil doing" look around and kindly pay notice to the thing that will soon be forgotten ...the kind and simple right thing to do.

He's clearly involved in the world and what is happening and has always been. Satan is behind all that is bad and God is behind all that is good. They are even both in our hearts, fighting for our attention.
Satan even uses religion to carry out his handiwork. He causes dissension and discord so that nothing can ever really be solved. He pits religion against religion, believer against believer. As long as we are all arguing about Scripture and the Bible, we are not focused on God.
I see satan in the rise of the anti-gay movement. He convinces Christians that homophobia is good and based on God. One of his happiest moments is when anti-gay Christians claim there is no such thing as homophobia, that it's all made up. If you don't even believe there is such a thing as homophobia, how can you see satan behind it?

No, but I don't believe in the Bible either. I say, live a good life and try to be a good person, don't judge people on the way they look but only on what kind of person they are, don't hurt animals unless you have to, and prepare for an afterlife that's probably what none of us imagine.
If the Devil is real, he's in the White house right now, and in a lot of the world leaders at this point.
Agnostic.

The Devil is called "the god of this world" and so he is definitely at work here today.
2 Corinthians 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Peter describes the Devil as our adversary in 1 Peter 5:8. In 2 Corinthians 2:11 Paul says that Satan is a schemer who is trying to find a way to take advantage of us. In John 13:2 it says that the Devil put it in Judas heart to betray Jesus. In Acts 5:3 Peter asked Ananias how he could let Satan fill his heart to lie to God about the money he was donating to the church. In 2 Timothy 2:26 Paul writes about people who have been snared by the Devil and taken captive to do his will.

Satan knows, that his time is short, he also knows, where he goes, when his time is up and he wants to take as many with him, as he can. That is why he is fighting for souls so fiercely.
Evil is definately on the rise, everywhere. But to us who know the Word ,it shouldn't come as a surprise at all. The bible tells us all about what is to happen in the last and evil days. And we are in those now.

I don't believe the Devil or Satan exists. However if you do believe in your bible and read it with an open mind, I think that it is not Satan that you are being deceived by, it is God. In the beginning Satan actually liberated humans, he exposed humans to the truth and also made them self-aware - how is that a bad thing? God said that if humans ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil that they would die. Well they didn't die but they gained self-awareness. Satan has only ever been honest, God is the one that is leaving you hanging and the one who has abandoned you and this planet (hypothetically speaking that is).

I agree with the metaphoric description. I don't agree that it is escalating in this modern day. Deception, evil, and confusion are in every period in history. A review of history shows that in every era of mankind, warmongers, dictators, and the popularity of decadence have caused death, destruction, and the fall of civilizations.
It is no different now than thousands of years ago. There are simply greater population numbers in the world today, and modern technology lets us know global events nearly immediately.

I agree bad things go on in the world, but I don't think that's anyones handiwork than mankind's. We have a tendency to lay the blame on others (Usually supernatural beings) rather than owning up to the fact that humanity is corrupt. We're born that way. No one is born ultimately good. Some of us are just better at lying to themselves about their sinful desires than others.

yes I fully agree...please read...be very firm about not changing moral values. 100% of the things that were sin 2,000 years ago are still sin today, God never changes. and who would want to follow a leader that constantly changed with the whims of the times any way, that would be a leader that you would never be able to please because you would never know what was right or wrong in his eyes form day to day, pleasing god is not all that hard because since he NEVER changes we always know what he wants form us. HOLINESS. do not ever change your moral values to fit the times. God will not allow it
and also please read this.....I used to be an atheist before but thankfully not now, 100 % believer now and the atheists here that have not converted yet are only here for one reason, to learn more about God because they are fence sitters still not sure if they want to jump in. REAL atheists like I used to be would never hang out in a place such as this that is full of religion. in their questions and answers they will deny it but that is only so their friends that see their questions an answers will not make fun of them.they will put up a very strong anti-God front but a front is all it really is.....100 % here are secretly fence sitters,..no true atheists here so keep preaching, they really do want to hear it...... even the ones you are talking about....HOWEVER if you see violations of yahoo guidelines please report 100% of the abuses, they can sit on the fence but only decently !
