if i had to guess i would say within the next 200 years .. could be tomorrow .. could be after my lifetime .. nobody knows really theres nothing to base it off of but a series of known events that will take place like the rebuilding of the Jewish temple .. a world currency based on some type of bio-id ... things like that ..

Darlene has quoted the bible correctly. We are not to know the day or the hour. BUT the bible DOES say that we are to know the SEASON. Only the people who really understand the bible know the season. I will try to quote as accurately as I can. It says concerning the return of Christ that " From the restoration of Israel (happened in 1948) until the destruction of Jerusalem ,( When Christ returns he causes an earthquake that runs east and west through Jerusalem ) that it would be seventy years. So add 1948 +70 = 2018. Now it is stated in Revelation that for the sake of God's elect the time satan is allowed on earth to fool people on earth into thinking he is Christ would be shortened. Satan was originally going to be allowed 7 years. But shortened by how much ? This affects the time of Christ"s return. because it has to be deducted from the seventy years. That is why we can only know the "season". Now you can boo and jeer all you want but it is the truth and acting like an ostrich is not going to change things.

No. Serious Biblical scholars do not claim to be able to predict Christ's return. There is even disagreement as to what that means. Some argue that Jesus' time on earth established the Kingdom of God, and that Christ won't literally return. Christians of every age have been certain that Christ's return was imminent, so it really is meaningless and pointless to speculate.

No.
History does contain examples of those who have set dates - it is always embarrassing when the date passes and nothing happens. You will find many people who believe the end is near as particular world events take place suggesting the fulfillment of some prophesy. I suggest that the most responsible view is - the end is nearer than it was.

The religions are still unable to prove that God exists. Without proof, the rest is possibly meaningless. Bible scholars have been in-accurately predicting Christ's return for thousands of years. They have pretty much lost their credibility. Most people say, "Yea, sure".

In the Bible itself, Jesus warned that many false prophets
will come, claiming to know the day & the hour.
They will even deceive many of the faithful.
But only the Father knows the precise time, be ready!

Of course not. By the way, in the year 999, everyone was preparing for what they thought was certainly going to be the end of the world on the following day. And so it has gone on all through history. Jesus said that we need not know when that will be.

As a Bible Scholar I know not to make predictions because even Jesus doesn't know when He will return. Only God knows.

The Bible is clear that no one knows when that will occur.
So anyone who claims to be a "Bible Scholar" who can predict this event is obviously not.

The Bible states that no man knows the day or the hour of the Lord's Return. If anyone says therefore that they know the day of His return they are wrong.
