How does it make you feel when you see so many "un-believers" on R&S answering questions with such malice and disregard to our Lord?
At first it was overwhelming to me, now it just saddens me.
How about you?

"B.B."
thanks for the heart felt message you gave, and thank you for being concern for us Christians, but I guess with me choosing to have something/someone to believe in feels better then having nothing to believe in at all.
But I am great full for you speaking on your opinions and not using my God's name in vain or through blaspheme.

Angel, It hurts me to the bottom of my soul, anytime I hear or see the name of our Lord and Savior being misused. And I must admit, there are things said here, that make me very mad, and very sad, to the point of tears. I think of my Jesus, being spit upon, and beaten to the drgree .... that He was disfigured beyond explanation. Every crack of that whip, was mine to take, every stumbling step up that hill, was my step to take. It is me that should have scared hands and feet, and I should have been rediculed .... as I hanged naked on a cross ..... tormented even unto death. But Jesus took my place, not because He had to, but because he loves me enough to pay for my sins, even while I was still living in sin. Don't misunderstand me, I am still a sinner, the very fact that I get mad is proof of that. But because of Jesus, I no longer live in sin, I no longer practice sin. And when I fall, I am forgiven, and I do fall.

It is not possible for someone to understand the idea of having a personal relationship with your God and Savior. Unless they have experienced a Spiritual birth. The carnal mind only sees and feels and understands that which is carnal. Those who would blaspheme our God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, do not know what they do.

And christians are not to have harsh words about anyones religious beliefs either. It is a sin indeed to act in such a juvenile manner. We should be examples of God's love to the world. Our very existence is to glorify our God and Savior. I think it is time to become friends, and to share our experences, to love with a divine love that is unconditional, honest, and true.

God be with you,
Evangelist, William M. Butler, St. Luke Ministries

I was quite shocked at the depths of depravity and hostility; and I still find it appalling!

However, the Lord has strengthened me to face these foes of the Lord. I just say what I think He wants me to say, and leave it at that. You have to handle what you can, and then get out for a while and recuperate; allow the Lord to bathe your mind from the filth it has been exposed to. He will restore your spirit, mind and soul and give you renewed ability to witness for Him.

But don't expect much from the unbelievers. "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh. And the heart is desparately wicked, without Christ." Changing the heart is the work of the Holy Spirit of God.

Rise above the evil that is cast up by the wicked; God will teach you how to mount up with wings like an eagle. You will be restored and will be used as a light to others who are now in error and darkness.

God Bless You! Take Care; we are all in this together!!

Love, Your sister in Christ

P.S.
It was much harder for the early Christians in their witness, for the missionaries with all the hostile people they ministered to, and even those in modern countries which were recently openly opposed to Christianity. We have an easier time than they ever did.

It's disappointing, but I'm sure that a lot of believers like myself used to be just like that. Thats the miracle of God! That's the proof that He transforms lives and makes the weak strong! I could never see myself without Him in my life! I was lost but now I'm found! If non-believers would look past the rude comments that maybe some of the other believers have posted ( I can get heated, but it's not to be mean or nasty, it's because I'm passionate about the truth!) and look at the over whelming evidence of His presence and experience His grace, I'm sure they would see what we now see......to lead someone to Christ is to lead them to life, here and beyond the grave. Why wouldn't anyone want that? Peace Sister, hope all is well with you!

It does sadden me- however remember once we too were lost in our sin- In the Bible it said, that in the last days perilous times will come, men will be lovers of themselves, rather than lovers of God. So it should not surprise us too much. We just have to remember that even though they disregard Him and say such horrible things about Him- until the last day they are on this earth, they have a chance to come to know Jesus- why? Because Jesus died for them too.
I know you already know this, and yes, it does sadden my heart, but just recently I have been reminded time and time again- that Jesus died for the WHOLE world, even those who reject Him- to receive eternal life, they must accept His payment for their sins- but God still loves them. Let's pray for those who speak ill of Him.

It is upsetting because a lot of people may not know that atheists come on and pretend to be Christian and say mean and nasty things. It is not the Christians doing this. I don't know what we can do except point them out when we see them.

I don't mind the ones so much who mock and act like morons if they identify themselves as atheists...what more would we expect from them? But to pretend like they are Christians and make such mean judgmental statements is just not in keeping with what is fair. They are trying to make us look like we are judgmental and self righteous,,,when in fact they are replying to these questions as false Christians and not us. New people on here may not be aware of those who do that. Sometimes they give themselves away because they don't know they Bible.

It is hard because there is only so much communication and love that can be spread online. Sometimes I feel like shaking the person, and sometimes I feel bad because they are truly missing out on a great oppertunity at eternal life. You wish you knew the person so you could reach them with a more intense ministry. Here on Yahoo we are shrouded by hidden identity and fake avatars.

I haven't answered a question on this site in more a week, maybe two
I am just sick at the malice and hatred, my heart is sick and it grieves my spirit to see the disgrace they have for Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God the Father
I see some Christians here tonight and it gives me hope
I thought they were all gone

this is very sad. we treat others as we want to be treated, but some don't have the same beliefs. I'm not saying all atheists are like that because some of my friends are atheists and they are very very nice and have the same morals as i do but they just don't believe in God. i hope they all see the Lord soon. but until then, let us pray for them.

Yes, it is sad, but what is almost as bad is the disregard for life in general. They post hate-filled messages about wanting us all to die.

It is sad, but I know that they did this to our Lord and Saviour. Both at the end of the Beaattitudes and in John 14-16, Jesus says they will do it to His followers.
