I was in northern Wisconsin about a week ago and I got a couple of bites. I'm pretty sure they're spider bites. I started scratching one again today and they scab came off. Now I have this weird red mark around it. It doesn't itch anymore. And then I thought that it may be the early stages of Lyme's Disease, but there was never any tick at the site. I drew a line around the redness just to see if it will start to go down after a while. Does anyone have an idea of what this redness is from?

That was a good idea. Signs of a spider bite are if it gets firm, pus comes out, red streaks start appearing from the area ( that means the poison is spreading ) If there's no change or it gets worse in the next 24 hrs, go to the doctor.

If it is a spider bite, the bite area would be raised and have puncture marks. The redness (if it doesn't increase) is probably just infection.

I don't much about spider bites, but look up Wisconsin spiders, and see which ones are dominant/poisonous in the area you traveled to. Then compare bite reactions to yours.

That is the best I can do!! Good luck!!

If it is a spider bite you must get medical attention fast . as it is rotting your flesh away from within, if it gets into the bloodstream them you die.

Why don't you go to a clinic and get this checked now rather than asking like this? It isn't worth waiting on this.
