Good beginners book. Try Cunningham, most anything by him. Also Bucklands big blue work book. Read, read, read and enjoy your new world.

First, I am VERY happy that you are educating yourself! kudos. Do not go blindly into anything or just what you find on the internet. Read and read alot. Read everything you can find. Good and bad. Then choose what is right for you. Now, i have no opinion about that book because I havent read it. Maybe I will just for the sake of it now. To offer an opinion. I like to keep my mind fresh. My first book was given to me by a wonderful witch and spiritualist. It was Wicca, A guide for the Solitary Pratitioner by Scott Cunningham. Then she told me to read Dorothy Morrison's The Craft, A Witch's Book of Shadow's. Both great beginners books. And The Craft had great exercises in it with meditation. And I thought she showed great humor too. Her Book Blessing makes you giggle. So keep these two books in mind. I highly recommend them both. I will be getting a few more Buckland books next week, I get a chance to meet him at a signing in our little town. Yeah! I am so excited...I have been enjoying this journey with you...taking me back to my beginning...looking at my old beginning books for the titles etc. Reminds me how I started, how far I have come, and how we never stop learnning from each other and everything around us. Many blessings in your journeys.
Blessed Be!

I haven't read that particular book, so I can't comment on it, I'm afraid.
But if you're looking for an introductory text that gives you all the information you need to start practicing the religion on a daily basis, I highly recommend "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham.

on a similar time as we now no longer have television, we had television from infancy to age 5, and specific, whilst she replaced right into a baby, I programmed the television to alter to her standard channels on weekends to permit me to sleep longer. actually, if my baby replaced into any smarter, i could be petrified of her. She reads like no one's business enterprise, she's depraved sensible at math, and technological expertise, and he or she's have been given a memory like a steel seize. Her checklist enjoying cards are magnificent, so i won't be able to say that gazing Arthur and Blue's Clues did her a lot injury. yet she did no longer have a steady weight loss application of no longer something yet television. We did a lot to stimulate her techniques besides. So i could quite % to understand how they do those checks, and are available up with those findings. Who volunteered to enable their youngster bypass techniques lifeless in front of a television to work out if it replaced into risky? what's your administration team?

I was given that book several years ago by the first Witch I ever knowingly met. From what I can remember, it was a pretty good book.
It starts with history. Then takes off with in depth discussions of what and why we do what we do. I would not describe this book as fluffy.
Good luck on your journey!

It's been a very long time since I picked up an introductory text, but I have heard that this one does not suck....it's much past my decade of learning....you know, it's too new for me?
Doesn't mean it's good, just means it doesn't suck.
