Nobody here can tell you when your dog will be in heat because nobody knows her personally but you. Most dogs experience their first heat at around six months. However, it can be before or after. Good breeding is not about sticking two dogs together and hoping they make puppies. A lot of time and expenses goes into breeding. Feeding, genetic testing, finding a suitable mate.
Why would you want to mate your dog with a yorkie when you have a maltese?

The best thing to do would be to spay her. It is good for her health and helps control the pet overpopulation. If you are not convinced there is a problem, step into animal control or volunteer at a shelter for a day.

She will come into season around 7 months to 1 year of age, wouldn't breed her on her first season and is best to wait til second season.Would most definately stay with the purebred Maltese Breed.

Dogs go in to heat every 6 months. So her first heat should be at about 5 and a half to 6 months old. You should wait until she as atleast a year and a half to 2 years. Do not breed after 5 years old.

You shouldn't be thinking about breeding at three months. Nor should you be considering purposely mixing breeds. Just in case you don't know, there are tens of thousands of dogs without homes in this country. The majority of them are mixed breeds. If you breed your dog you are contributing to the problem. Shelter employees must euthanize many of them. At busy times, that can mean that a single employee is charged with the responsibility if euthanizing up to 10 or 12 dogs a day, all thanks to people like you.

Take her to dog shows. Get know know your breed, the standards and the health issues. And get to know the people that are involved in the health and well being of your breed. Be responsible, breeding is a HUGE responsibilty and commitment dont do it on a whim. Good luck w/ your puppy!

Who cares. Just be well prepared for an expensive c-section for not too many puppies. Happens a lot with tiny breeds.
