Hmmm. Could be, but I'd need to see the research, and then I probably wouldn't believe it until actual pollination successes drop to a worryisome level.

There are a lot of missing bees not just in Ohio, but all over the world, due to a phenomenon called Colony Collapse Disorder. Cell phones have been speculated to be the cause, but have not been determined to be the culprit. There are some interesting videos on YouTube about this that you absolutely must watch; see below. This is a SERIOUS concern because there is simply some crops that cannot be farmed without bees.

Could very well be. Bees are getting scarce all over the place, and there may be a connection between cell phones and the bees' navigation systems

Yes, it does. If you want news to back it up google Traverse City Michigan Cherry Festival.

The bees are very confused and the cherry crop was in jeopardy. The directly related it to the cell phone tower they put up.

no, bees know how to navigate using more than one sense. Only when it is cloudy will a cell phone affect a bee, but even then it can use landmarks.

yes becuase of their weight a cell phione while attatched to a bees belt will cuase it to fly to one side thus making him fly off course. The only way to correct this is to have him carry two phones or move the one phone from left to right in equale flying times thus cancelling out each other...

That is one theory that has started floating...

There is no scientific evidence to support or denounce it.
