try either dry loaf bread (don't toast it or put anything on it) or milk.. if that doesn't work I'd try some Pepcid Complete... Good luck..

Eat an apple w/skin on. Not sure why exactly it works but I found it works great! Remember it has to have the skin on for it to work. In about 15-20 mins you should be heartburn free! :)

Take a couple more. I find that Tums don't work fast enough and the other over the counter stuff does. I forget the name, but it's one pill only and works really fast. Good luck!

Drink milk, I've had heartburn issues my whole life (as long as i can remember anyway). Quick fix that never fails.

One Prilosec over the counter, and if necessary you can take two a day. If the problem continues, see a doctor.

pepcid complete is really good. some bread to soak up the acids, maybe lowfat milk. those are the couple things i've done to help it.

swallow water and tea slowly, i hate it when that happens. it seems to be mostly bread for me. take deep breaths and avoid eating wha you did to give you heartburn

if you get heart burn alot,prilosec is an over the counter dug that works great,,,for imediate releif try baking soda with warm water

press your hand over the part it hurts in, that way you put pressure on it so it will go away quickly. it should go away for a few min. and its probably going to come back, if it does. be prepare to buy pepno bisno (sp)
