i know it may sound strange --- im not into the clubs/pubs/bars and i found the adult dating sites (if you ignore the advertising and the guys that believe the advertising) to be interesting --- you meet more people and can get an idea of who they are because they have to be convincing without any body language --- its really just as safe as meeting in a bar ---- you make sure you meet in a public place and get their measure ---- i met a few ladies this way and while long term they did not work out the intention was there ---- i met my lady online and have no need to use any of these sites anymore ---- best wishes

I would say through friends... or even through friends of friends! have get togethers at your house and let your friends bring people over so you could expand your social horizon
