I had several crowns fitted about a week ago. At first I looked and felt o.k.Now my teeth are extremely sensitive and I feel most unwell-nauseous dizzy and weak. Nothing tastes or smells right and my mouth fills with saliva. I don't feel like myself at all. Is this normal? How long will recovery be? Is it possible that I'm allergic to the metal or any of the other materials used?

hi i am billie a dental nurse. you should make am appointment ASAP if the sensitive is don't getting better the one of your teeth could be dieing and you may need an RCT if this should happen then they will drill though the crown and do the treatment, i would not have the tooth taken out at all.
also i would try floss inbetween the crowns as it could be trapped food, this can sometime play your teeth up. if you are not flosssing you should be doing this daily. email me if you need to.

I suffered from panic attacks that made me feel physically ill, sometimes they made me feel as if I was losing my marbles or that I had a high fever, an ulcer, or a heart attack. Sometimes they would happen when I was suffering from the flu, and those were the worst because they actually could make the flu seem like some rare deadly plague and worry me so much I'd wind up going to the hospital, only to find my anxiety was playing an expensive trick on me. Later in life, I found out the source of my anxiety was a tiny heart murmur. I now use a yoga breathing technique to control my panic attacks and my racing heart. I'm finally free of murmur induced anxiety and enjoying much better health and finances.

I know just how you feel. I have bridgework and that is sensitive at times. I think you will find it will get better, and you will get used to it. At the moment I can't stop grinding my teeth, but hopefully it will settle. However, you should check with the dentist, there may be an infection.
