No. We don't spurn anybody. People being human, gather together with like preferences. Look at any school lunch room.
Of course we believe it is the only true way. Why would we follow this path if we did not? The Bible tells what path is approved by God. We go that way. God whose name is Jehovah (Ps.83:18) shows organization in everything He does. Why do you assume He would leave it up just anyway the wind blows for His worship? It is the only thing humans can give Him He does not already possess. Such an important thing would be spelled out in the Bible. It was by Jesus. We follow his orders for worship of his Father.
Having 2 eyewitnesses for conviction of a crime dates back to the times of the Egyptians. The Mosaic Law stated it. That effects laws even today. It is not just us. By the way, we don't have courts in the organization.
If you want to leave, leave. Of course, if there is a problem, the friends will do all they can to help. We don't hog tie anyone or force them to do anything. We don't even pass a collection plate around at any meetings as the churches do. I for one can't imagine anything more forceful this side of legal.
Even when someone does something endangering the congregation, everything is done to redeem the brother. these steps are in the Bible and we follow them. Today, if you have a body part that is diseased and endangers the rest of the body, it must be removed by surgery if other drugs and things do not work. That is the final step. To protect the congregation's health, as a final step, an unrepentant person must be removed from the congregation.
We are an organization that follows the Christ. Otherwise known as Christians.

More then 1 accusation to address here so;
1) No, we are not. Bust open a dictionary to define.
2) We don't "spurn" them, as u put it.
If 1 is disfellowshiped, its bc of his own unrepentance.
And can come back into the fold.
3) As all ppl do, when they believe they have found the path 2 a relationship w God &/or the truth 2 everlasting life.
4) That is a law in many lands, since ancient times.
Even to this day, the cops need witnessess.
5) If u leave, that's ur choice; so then why would u care?
I mean, if u don't want to be there anyways.
If u don't want 2 be w/ Godly ppl., live a Godly life,
why would it matter?, 2 YOU,
if they didn't want to be around / with you?
Ur reasoning is twisted.
Ur just trying to spread rumors, lies, falsehoods,
YOU don't even care about an answer,
since YOU answered the Q already urself.
With all the slander that suits YOU best.
I hope YOU have a good day.

No.
A cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual. Many cults follow a living human leader, and often their adherents live in groups apart from the rest of society. The standard for what is orthodox, however, should be God’s Word, and Jehovah’s Witnesses strictly adhere to the Bible. Their worship is a way of life, not a ritual devotion. They neither follow a human nor isolate themselves from the rest of society. They live and work in the midst of other people.
Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that their religion is the only right one -
The Bible does not agree with the modern view that there are many acceptable ways to worship God. Ephesians 4:5 says there is “one Lord, one faith.” Jesus stated: “Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it. . . . Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.”—Matthew 7:13, 14, 21; see also 1 Corinthians 1:10.
(1 Timothy 3:15 - 2 John 1; 2 Pet. 2:2) Because Jehovah’s Witnesses base all of their beliefs, their standards for conduct, and organizational procedures on the Bible, their faith in the Bible itself as God’s Word gives them the conviction that what they have is indeed the truth. So their position is not egotistical but demonstrates their confidence that the Bible is the right standard against which to measure one’s religion. They are not self-centered but are eager to share their beliefs with others.
Jehovah's Witnesses obey human laws which require any accusations of abuse to have an investigation by law enforcement. Any who do not obey this law or put other people in danger will be disfellowshipped, in line with Bible precedents. (1 Cor. 6:10.)

All religions began as an offshoot of a larger religion and as a "Cult" to larger denominations. To this day some Branches of Christianity believe others to be a cult (Lutherans, Mormons and Unitarians are the most commonly accused still). A lot of denominations still stress obedience to the spouse and parents (regardless of abuse) and many will ostracize you if you leave the church as well. Quite a few also believe that their way is the Only Way (otherwise there wouldn't be so many ways...). They're really not so different than any other branch of Christianity. General rule of thumb is that if you feel anything is fishy about them, then steer clear - yourself. But it doesn't give anyone the right to say that they're any more or less correct in their methods than any other denomination.

No we are not a cult. Those who hate us and know what we stand for are the ones who label us as a cult. Why? because we are not like any other religion in the matter of permitting some of the things that God's hates into the congregation of members. We have high moral standards and call our God by his name. That in their opinion makes us a cult because we are different and obey God's word closely. I am not surprised cus even when the Jesus professed to being the son of God, they thought he was lying and and he works with demon powers.

Jehovahs witnesses are not part of a cult - it is their religion and if they wish be Jehovahs Witnesses it is their right the same as catholics. protestants, muslims, jews, mormons and lots of other demoninations - you cannot stop people having their own beliefs even if you do not agree with the same practices they have - to do so would be discrimination and I think there has been too much discrimination involving religions for too many years which has caused needless wars and conflicts - so lighten up and let everyone be happy in whatever religion they choose

Your question is not an honest one. You're not ASKING if we're a cult, you're slandering us. It takes a LOT more than what you see or hear to understand us. If you went to just 1 meeting you would see just how loving we are. We love those who have strayed and glady welcome them back. We don't associate with them during their unrepentantess (that's WHY their disassociated) because of bad influence. And we don't just claim we are 100% right. We realize we have been wrong in the past but everything we've ever taught is based 100% on the BIBLE. (ANY Bible!) Even yours. or your friend's.

I have had a lot of experience with the JWs and I am not one of them. You sir do not know what you are talking about. I Strongly suggest that you at least start a bible study with them so you can get to know the truth of there beliefs .
Other wise do not slander what you have no real idea about.
Did you make this up or listen to hearsay?

Some consider it that way. It seems different ones believe differently. I know a couple on Y! Answers, and one in person. When it gets down to it, I don't agree with many of their teachings.

Jehovah's Witnesses certainly do not 'spurn outsiders.' On the contrary we are known worldwide for our work of preaching to non-Witnesses. And all of our meetings are open to the public, something no true "cult" would allow.
Our only Leader is Jesus. We do not follow a man.
