Yes, it is possible that this is a rare form of childhood breast cancer or even a secondary cancer (didn't originate in the breast). I am very concerned that this is only on one breast. One of the first signs of cancer in young people is an unexplained lump or bump anywhere on the body. Tell your mom or guardian immediately. You need to be examined by a doctor as soon as possible.

Types of rare breast cancer found in children and young teens
Juvenile Secretory Carcinoma - rare, slow growing, and less aggressive than adult breast cancer
Cystosarcoma Phylloides - rapidly growing tumor that can stretch the breast tissue
Other types of cancer that may originate in the breast tissue of children includes Lymphoma.
You need to be checked by a doctor just to make sure that this is nothing to be concerned about.

The only way for you to know is to go to your doctor. There have been some known cases of early breast cancer. But it could also be a cyst or a benign tumour (which is not cancerous). Noone can answer your question on here. Go to your doctor and ask for advice instead.

We don't know the cause. If we did, we might be able to prevent it and treat it better. Symptoms are rare. I had a red rash present from the tumor causing tissue changes. The lump was rather large but my doc never detected it. No worries though; it's very treatable, fine now.

Best answer will come from your doctor. I suggest having your Mom call the first of the week to get an appointment for you. No one can make a diagnosis on line - you need to be seen by a professional. Good luck!

Bethany,
That's my daughter's name, Where Jesus dwelled!!!
At your age it is quite possible that it is milk glands developing. I would however tell your mom and get an appointment with a doctor.
Don't worry about it, these things can really mess with your mind but do get it checked out just in case.

Knots are extremely common in young female breasts. Don't worry, I highly doubt it. The knots are from growing. They might also be there if you're about to ride the crimson wave. ;D

Highly unlikely.
It could be a cyst, a benign tumor, a swollen lymphnode.
See a doctor.
