"still"?

The premise of this question is very nearly the OPPOSITE of the truth! In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses actually believe the bible to COMMAND them to talk to non-Witnesses.

Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

No we don't and never did.
We live, work, shop, witness, conduct business
what-have-you w/ all ppl.
Its our close associates,
our companions that we chose wisely.
Annnddd who doesn't.
When my kids were teens;
I didn't let them 'hang @ the spot,'
my eldest dghtr said I was mean;
I told her, "u may think that now,
but when they're 22, & still 'hangin' @ the spot'
YOU won't be."
Guess what?!
She's 23 now and Not 'hangin' @ the spot.'

Do parents who want their child(ren) to do well academically,
and go on to college want them hanging out / being friends
w/ kids doing drugs and or having sex.
I say Certainly Not.
I had my 1st child when I was 15;
don't think I want that for my kids.
When I heard the girls talking about
"I want to have my babies young, like momma did"
WHOA!!!
I took them to a Dept. store & started "baby shopping"
By the time we left there, their attitudes changed, drastically!
As we walked out,
1 girl turned to her sister and said
"momma's baby crazy."
I didn't become a grdma for almost 11 yrs.

I told this story, cuz by the Q, u asked
u make it sound as tho choosing ur friends wisely
is a bad thing.

I don't think that Jehovah's Witnesses believe that talking to worldy people is wrong.

As we read the Bible, we find out that even our Lord Jesus Christ, our perfect Master and whom we are to emulate, spoke, ate, and taught the worldly people.

Therefore, whoever teaches or assumes talking to worldly people as being wrong, is, in my own perception, not teaching the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

We never thought it was wrong to talk to people in the world. Then who would we preach to? Jesus said we must witness to the entire inhabited earth. It is close association with them that we should not do. I was once a "worldly" person, but then I learned the truth about Jehovah's love for us and about his heavenly government which will soon bring all worldly things under Satan's control to an end. I am now a baptized Christian who has the hope of living forever here on earth.
Jesus said to be "no part of the world" and so we must obey his command.

Practices That God Hates

Servants of God love what is good. But they must also learn to hate what is bad. (Psalm 97:10) That means avoiding certain practices that God hates. What are some of those practices?

Fornication: Sex before marriage, adultery, bestiality, incest, and homosexuality are all serious sins against God. (Leviticus 18:6; Romans 1:26, 27; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10) If a couple are not married but are living together, they should separate or else get legally married.—Hebrews 13:4.

Lying, Gambling, Stealing: Jehovah God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2) Persons who want his approval must avoid lying. (Proverbs 6:16-19; Colossians 3:9, 10) Every form of gambling is tainted by greed. So Christians do not take part in any kind of gambling, such as lotteries, horse racing, and bingo. (Ephesians 5:3-5) And Christians do not steal. They do not knowingly buy stolen property or take things without permission.—Exodus 20:15; Ephesians 4:28.

Fits of Anger, Violence: Uncontrolled anger can lead to acts of violence. (Genesis 4:5-8) A violent person cannot be God’s friend. (Psalm 11:5; Proverbs 22:24, 25) It is wrong to take revenge or to return evil for the bad things that others might do to us.—Proverbs 24:29; Romans 12:17-21.

Magical Spells and Spiritism: Some people call on the power of the spirits to try to heal sicknesses. Others cast spells on their enemies to make them sick or even to kill them. The power behind all these practices is Satan. So Christians must not take part in any of them. (Deuteronomy 18:9-13) Staying close to Jehovah is the best protection from spells that may be cast on us by others.—Proverbs 18:10.

Drunkenness: It is not wrong to drink a little wine, beer, or other alcoholic beverage. (Psalm 104:15; 1 Timothy 5:23) But heavy drinking and drunkenness are wrong in God’s eyes. (1 Corinthians 5:11-13; 1 Timothy 3:8) Drinking too much can ruin your health and disrupt your family. It can also cause you to give in very quickly to other temptations.—Proverbs 23:20, 21, 29-35.

Persons who practice things that God says are bad will “not inherit God’s kingdom.” (Galatians 5:19-21) If you really love God and want to please him, you can break free from these practices. (1 John 5:3) Learn to hate what God says is bad. (Romans 12:9) Associate with people who have godly habits. (Proverbs 13:20) Mature Christian companions may prove to be a source of help. (James 5:14) Above all, rely on God’s help through prayer.—Philippians 4:6, 7, 13.

And Jehovah Witnesses does not have any part in War.

False religion teaches that it is all right to kill others in time of war. Jesus said that God’s friends would have love among themselves. We do not kill people we love. (John 13:35) It is even wrong for us to kill bad people. When the enemies of Jesus came to arrest him, he did not let his disciples fight to protect him.—Matthew 26:51, 52.

If you like to do what is wrong, don't you think others should stay away from you.
1Corinthians15:33/Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits. Hopefully this answers your question about worldly people. People who don't want to give up bad practices.

If they believed that how do they go door to door to preach?
How do they run companies? Which some here do.
How do they work out in the public which a bunch here do.
One lady I know has sisters who are not witnesses and they are very close.
In fact I have a very close friend who is a witness and she is very friendly. We talk all the time. So that is misinformation.

Sorry if someone told you that, I remember being 14 and for some reason it seemed people LOVED telling me out there stories about others, maybe it is that age:D

We have NEVER believed talking to non believers was wrong, for one thing, how could we help others come to know about the Bible if we never talked with them?

As for the second question here is what I put the other time you listed it "Anything we want that is humanly possible:D Now as for what we as Christians will do with others, that is a different story. We strive to associate mostly with others of similar beliefs as us, as do most people. As a basic answer we of course would never want to do something with ANYONE that violates our Bible based beliefs. If you have a more specific question I would be glad to try to answer."

Hope this helps.
