We're kind of on a tight budget, and the difference is about $5,000. Both brand new. We're leaning towards the Sebring, just 'cause it's cheaper, but ideally, we'd like the Matrix.

Opinions?

I'd go with the sebring. But check out the Pontiac Vibe, the Matrix and Vibe are made in the same factory in Fremont California and use the same parts.

Gotta go with the Matrix very reliable and the Toyota keeps good value over the years.

The Sebring is has the worst second-hand value in the market - for good reason. I would happily pay the extra $5k for Toyota quality and second-hand value.
