There are many reasons.

1- Historical misconceptions originating in Christian Europe.
2- Many financial institutions in the west are headed, run and controllled by Jews.
3- The state of Israel, representative of the world jewery ranks 16th among the richest countries of the world and third in the middle east following UAE and Qatar (partly becasue of American financial support). Ranking before wealthy countries such as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

If Israel is richer than Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and Kuwaitis and Saudis are practically hording money, but you as an individual are still broke as **** as you say. I guess its time you start asking some serious questions about where your money is going. (Unless you are not Israeli of course).

On the other hand if you are a jew living elswhere (other than Israel) then you probably know why you are Broke like ****, your money is being sent to Israel to make the already rich richer.

Don't you agree its funny Israel the 16th richest nation on earth is still by far the largest recepient of US foreign Aid!!! Since when does the rich need Aid??? No wonder American tax payers are really pissed off.

There are a number of reasons for this - first is the action where Jesus overturned the moneychangers table in the courtyard of the Temple in Jerusalem and the Catholic Church felt that Jews could be the money changers of Europe. Since Catholics were suppose to give their extra money to the Church - no one but Jews are allowed for centuries to be the bankers of Europe. In Poland, because Jews were allowed to handle money the King of Poland hired Jews to be his tax collectors. There are more stories like this but simply put Jews were the only ones in Europe allowed to handle money because in order for Jews to make a living they were forced into being traders, bankers, and/or merchants because the Catholic Church would not allow them to on land.

Good Luck!!!

***Sarah T, they don't like to hang out in R&S.

There are actually many poor Jewish ppl -- you know all the ones in America that aren't in Hollywood or working on Wall Street or in the Diamond trade.

I've got a question for you: How do other Jews treat you? Do they look at you like you are less than?

People are ignorant. My grandfather was Jewish and poor. Many Jews are wealthy though so you get lumped together. I'm Muslim so trust me, I know all about ignorant generalizations.

it's just a stigma! why do you care what people think about you? the thing is that no matter what you do they will hate you... the money thing is just an accuse for them.
don't worry about it... just ignore... you can't win ignorance
