Please answer this question frankly.
Why? I am updating my profile, and if you are "intollerant", I need to block you so that you don't snoop through my files and delete my account.

Dear Raven's Voice (((Hugs)) - Do you forgive me for the poor way I worded this question?

Instead of saying "upset", I should have said/ asked: "Do you go ape-$hit when some questions are asked. And, does it make you seek revenge?

Maybe I should just self-delete this dumb question. It seems like I just washed my tongue and can't do a thing with it. --- chagrin

Not if the questions are sincere and original.
Some of the questions on here are asked only to incite a response.

Sometimes I get confused becasue I am not sure if people are being serious or just trying to taunt. Sometimes I think people sincerely want to know answers. Other times I think people want to persecute Christians and get on here to impose demonic viewpoints and misdirect those who are seeking truth. So no, I don't get upset, just a little unsetteled about all of the false teaching that exists out there. It far outweighs the accurate teaching.

Of course. But those questions are either asked out of ignorance, or are designed to incite anger. It's not so much the questions that get me riled, but answers to some of my questions where, for example, somebody makes a snide or rude comment about my daughter (my avatar) or is taking time to not answer the question, but rather use the space to go off on some rant.
Your questions though are fuzzy and cuddly, just like your avatar...you remind me of the Librarian in most of Pratchett's books. Gimme an "Oook".

I obviously do not agree with every question or answer that I read. I have learned to "just say no" and bypass those that are offensive to me personally. Answering with a rude answer only encourages them. The "offensive flag" should only be used for porno avatars and remarks that are of content that would only appeal to a creep who either is a Chester or is fantasizing about pedophilia. Since I have been on, I have seen one instance of both. The "thumbs" system is for giving a rating, if you care to. The flag for "offensive" is not for censoring a religion, belief, [or lack of,] or sexual preference. I do not expect this to be a "G" rated site, nor do I expect the individuals to pander to my belief system. A little love now and then is nice, though!
Edit: I just read Diane's remark about the One Day Wonders who create an account for the sole purpose of spewing racism. I am always glad to see them go. Hey, Brother B.Bobbie! Yes it makes me sad to see people go out of their way to be offensive to believers, but I have also seen remarks made by Christians that offer no hope, only condemnation.

Yes, I don't like it when people accuse Christians of being "intollerant." God never told us to tolerate everyone elses religion. He said, "Go unto the world and make disciples." Being tolerant doesn't fit into a Christian's life.
That, and I've discovered that this section is like a war zone between atheists and creationists, jews and christians, and muslims and buddists and satanists and everyone.
It seems to me that nobody is really practising what they preach. There and some of the rudest people on here, but don't worry, I'm not going to couse You any trouble, it does seem that you care about yourself alot though....

Nope I figure that the people here that are sincere deserve sincerity, the people that are hostile deserve hostility, and the ones that are here to play at being silly deserve silliness. I attempt to follow the admonition of Paul to be all things to ll men that i might by any means win some. If a person is flippant in their questions I am flippant in my responses. I have met some very nice people here and a few racist.

Bismillah Al Rahman Al Raheem
We look to all the great they went east and found alight, some could take it some could not, some fell side left some fell side right, we found the promise land its in the East, they are the Wise, NOT "US"
Khair inshAllah wu Al hamdoullah Rub Alameen
the Quran is truly the word of the Absolute one that says: "He who is guided by Allah SWT is and forever will be in the guidance of Allah SWT, and he whom has allowed himself to be led astray have never been and never will be guided by anything on the face of this earth! BINGO! WE GOT IT!
Just give us time to trickle the love down, turn no longer to each other in hate, please!!!! We made error also, but there had to be some defence and we had to play your game to learn the rules.. And that is what we do when we don't understand something we go back to Allah SWT, then Muhammed SAW and then all those loved him -"THATS US CAUSE HE MISSED US SO MUCH BEFORE WE WHERE EVEN BORN! PERFECT SENSE!" So no more Babble, and lets look towards this new found or shall I say old found promise land that we so are prejudice and ignorant to have kept bickering about what we have, and forget to see what we where given through all books.
We mentioned Allah SWT is always in knowledge and the gift was for you each and every one of you! So please those who believe turn East to a name I will give once "We" will give once we iron out some details, you know our style its un breakable style just like the Quran :) Oh ya Jim C - we figured out the link thanks so much for the Gift, it was all that made the differance Al hamdoullah WE CALL NOW FOR PEACE AND THANK YEE THY LORD! SALAM

I would say that yes I do get upset by some of the questions. Most of the time it is because the question is phrased in such a way as to provoke a negative response however.

Of course not, why should I? ...Every person who sends a question or answers one is seeking Truth (however defined.) I certainly find nothing objectionable about that! ... At least we have the freedom to do this here! Lets glorify the Lord further by conversing about Him, pro or con!

Frankly. You SAID to answer it "Frankly"!!! SHEESH.
Actually Unc, I don't let much at all upset me. The only thing that upsets me personally, is adults preying on little children and folks making death threats against others. Other than that all is fair game.
