Bay Terrace overlooking Little Neck Bay. Or Fort Totten on the property of the former military base.

Ok so this isnt exactly in Bayside but it is in queens...if you go to astoria/long island city, there you can go to 2 places that are both beautiful and the sunsets are magnificent... one is in riverview pier (48th ave and vernon blvd [you go up vernon blvd and on 48th st make a right its right there].... maybe u can mapquest it or something) and at the strip in Astoria Park (youll get gorgeous views of Manhattan and the overhead Hells Gate and Triborough Bridges)

look to the west but the buildings will obscure it.
