could be the trinity

Elohim means "the gods". Every story in Genesis and Exodus is told in two versions, a polytheistic version and a monotheistic version. Translators have attempted to cover up that fact by translating the clearly plural "Elohim" as "Lord", but the coverup is exposed by passages such as the one you mention.

The polythestic versions always refer to Elohim (the gods) throughout. The monotheistic versions always refer to YHWH (Yahweh, a single god) throughout.

The redactor of the first two books was obviously a collector, not concerned with establishing a coherent religion, but rather trying to save every written version of the early oral traditions.

That, by the way, is why the creation, the flood, the exodus, every single story in the first books is told twice in similar, but slightly differing versions.

The Torah goes "And the L-rd G-d said 'Yes the man has become like one of us'" The word for G-d in this pasuk is אלקים in Hebrew, which is always in the plural form. It implies the attribute of Justice, and human courts of justice also are called אלקים (refer you to Genesis chapter 5 verse 2, where from the context it certainly does not mean G-d)

Archeaology Magazine reported a few years ago that the people who became the Jews were a polytheistic Pagan society with 12 deities; Yahweh was a minor Volcano God (go ahead, reread the Old Testament and deny it) and the word translated as God (Elohim) is plural.
Draw your own conclusions.

colossians 1:15 says that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. The first born of all creation.
That is why he is called the only begotten son of God.
Then verse 16 says he created all other things in heaven and earth. Another place Job 38:7 Says all the spirit sons of God shouted in applause when the earth was made.
Another place says there are millions X's millions of spirit sons of God or angels. So he could have been talking to any one of them but my guess is he was talking to Jesus.
I know he was when he said, "let us make man"
Not I am going to make a man. Who was the Us?

Those Who likewise had the knowledge of Good and Evil.

After all, at that time, God the Heavenly Father was NOT ALONE in Heaven, was He? He already had created other Heavenly creatures as well, such as Arch Angels, Angels, seraphims, cherubims...

Peace be with you!

Actually, there is no specific mention of an apple in the Bible. I am not sure how the apple got into the story. I suppose simply because it is the most familiar fruit to many of us.

Appleeaters were a race of aliens from the planet Appleeat. One of them pretended to be a god, and thats how it all began. When Adam ate the apple he became one of them.
The transformation came about because it was a wormy apple and some of the worm dna got into Adam. For a while he was a terrible mess but eventually the slime dried up.
