This is the British Veterinary Association's Scheme for those who aren't familiar with this type of score. Each number represents a hip, thus this dog's total score is 21. Each hip is scored out of a total of 53 (total of 106 for both hips) with 9 different aspects of the hip joint making up that score. The lower the figures the better the score.
I would say that, as the breed mean score is 27 with the median being 22, your dog's score is way too high to justify his use at stud, unless he has some outstanding features which you feel need to be preserved in the breed. Do you show him? Has he won any cc's or is he a Champion?
If not I wouldn't breed him.

His hip score is below the breed average which is 27, so there should be no problem from that point of view - the b1tch should, of course, have a similar or better score.
The fact that you have that here suggests that you don't have much experience with the breed, so before you get into breeding, make sure you know the pitfalls of allowing your dog to be used.

What system you're using to look at hips?

Edit: Wow.. wonder why on earth I got a thumbs down for that... just was wanting to learn... have done some research now.. great to learn something new.. I've never had a dog in the UK .. so.. it wasn't within the realm of my experience. Thanks wise-ol-poodle-groomer

What system is being used??? OFA does not do that kind of scoring and PennHip does not give that kind of score either.
