if you're really into either, then no, but remember itll be permanent...dont get somethin you wouldnt like as an old lady. lil pony could be spiced up into a sexy unicorn and hello kitty could be in a corsette or a lil french maid outfit, just to shake things up. you can use those things as a base, but give 'em a lil flair.

All I'm going to say is that Hello Kitty tattoos are EVERYWHERE nowadays. I've always loved the character, but now the ''scene kids" have taken it to a whole new level. So if you want a bit of uniqueness (it is actually a word, I swear!) then I'd go for the My Little Pony one. Then at least you can customise it to suit you with the colours and stuff, whereas HK can't really be changed.
Whatever you do, make sure it's what you want and that it's not just a phase you're going through - a tattoo is for life!
But, it is completely up to the person getting the tattoo to decide what they WANT. And nobody should try to change their opinion ^_^
Good luck!

I think that the best rule to follow when getting a tattoo is that you should only get things that are important to you in some way, or mean something to you. So... if Hello Kitty or My Little Pony means something to you, have at it. If it's something that is being done as a joke or on a whim, it's probably not the best idea.

I dont think it is sad at all.My friend is going to have a hello kitty tatoo as soon as she turns 18. If you want to get either a lil pony tat or hello kitty you should just bear in mind its for life. What also effects how nice it looks is were you get it.

Something with meaning huh? Well how can a load of strangers give you ideas that are meaningful to you? Only you can decide what is meaningful, to some people their butterfly tattoos are deeply meaningful, it's just not your taste, that's all. Sorry but this is something you have to research and decide for yourself.

Hey!
It really depends on what you like & whether you think your still gonna like it in 20 years time!
I looove Tattoo's so Im not gonna try & put you off.....Just make 100% sure its what you want.
If you do have a Tattoo & decide years later it was a bad idea you can have it Tattooed over with something else x
All the best

It's not sad, it's just something the person in question would regret, you cannot be fifty and have a little pony tattoo, it's not sad but then it would be silly.

Ye better give this a lot o thought cos it's for life, and dont think you can just get them removed later if you regret them cos you'll have major scarring instead, i have my kids names and some other stuff but dont regret them, av had them since i was 16, am 36 now so am OK.
