Who cares if you sinned or not, the good christians here tell us your actions do not matter and as long as you accept god you will be forgiven. So do anything you want, repent go to heaven, live a good life, cure cancer, go to hell. Sounds totally rational to me? Doesn't it?

You cannot change any events that are critical to the path leading to the development of the time machine. If getting rid of your sin is the reason you invent the time machine, then you cannot stop yourself from that sin, or you will stop what caused the invention, thus creating a paradox.

Unfortunately, Time travel is a sin.. or at least it will be when it's created so the time traveller is doomed.

Look, Kip from Napoleon Dynamite was very familiar with Cyber -Space and even he couldnt send Uncle Rico back in time, so lets all just accept that time-travel is not possible.
