I made an Ethiopian muslim friend when I worked in Saudi Arabia in 1980. He was a nice man and his wife cooked some of the best Ethiopian food I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, he was in exile as he was a rebel assassin for an opposition group from Ethiopia and felt like he always had to be watchful of reprisal by the government if he was ever caught. I never thought of him as a terrorist, but I'm sure the Ethiopian government would have considered him one. He didn't really have strong political feelings against the ruling government, but had more of a soldier mentality and thought that he had to do his part for a group he felt tied to. I think he just caught caught up in the emotion of it all. I don't know what he might be doing now, but I hope he is safe and not involved in killing anymore.

Yes, I have been friends with many Muslims from different countries, and have found Muslims to be just like anyone else. None of the Muslims that I know support the terrorism acts; in fact, all the Muslims I know tell me that acts of terrorism on innocent people are fobidden in the Quran.

It's not true at all that Muslims are all terrorists...many people of other religious beliefs have also committed violent acts and acts of terrorism. Enjoy your new friendship with your Muslim friend...you can learn a lot about Islam, which is a pretty interesting religion.

nicely, the extremists/terrorists are the equivalent of the Christians who blow up abortion clinics and the new child-molesting monks. luckily uncommon and intensely f*cked up, yet they get numerous press time. each faith has its stable and its undesirable human beings, it is purely that the loopy ones get the main media interest. Islam, like Christianity, is practiced via 1000000000 followers, and that i heavily doubt all of those billion are terrorists. The Qu'ran (Islamic holy e book) would not condone or mandate violence, terrorism or spousal abuse. That being mentioned, i understand extremely some Muslims and am on friendly words with them, regardless of the indisputable fact that we at the instant are not very close through wildly distinctive schedules. they're exceptionally time-honored human beings. =D I additionally had an Iranian math instructor in the eigth grade, he became very advantageous and helped me an poor lot with my study. playstation : WTF is this doing in the LGBT section?

hey beautiful

i am myself a muslim !! i have many friends that are mislim. christian , jewish and hindu... to me they are all very nice and caring !!!

i think that it is wrong for ppl to judge others on their beliefs.. i know that muslims are getting calleed terrorits but there is no reason for that.. the media always over exaggerates everything... how would christians like it if preists were all called rapists cause of what the little amount of preists that did rape children?? they wont like it and that is just wat is happenin to the muslims.. they are all getting accused and judged from the litte amount that did do wrong !!

many mulims are nice and caring and easy to communicate with just like any other religion..

wishing you the best !!

All people are individuals. A few people don't represent a whole when they innovate things. Like it has been said before and I will be the one to say it again, Islam doesn't teach violence or terrorism.

My co-worker is Muslim. He's a good guy. I haven't evaluated him to determine whether he's "lovely," as he's married and we're both heterosexuals anyway.

I have, yes. They can be just as intelligent and well-educated as anyone else; those that hide behind a religious ideology as an excuse to justify extremist, anti-social behavior do so because they CHOOSE to do so; and it's just that: an excuse.
