It's wrong to take people's money.

No divine high 5s for YOU, my pretty.

It's admirable that you didn't buy alcohol for the kids. It's pitiful the way you handled it though. You should have just been honest with them in the first place and told them, "nope, sorry fellas, that can get me arrested."

God started to want to give you a high 5, until He saw the way you deceived the kids and then laughed at them. That was cruel & it didn't teach them anything except what a jerk looks like.

Knowing kids the way I do, they probably said to each other: "What a jerk! Now I need to drink more to get rid of the anger I feel towards someone who would treat us like that."

Then they would come home and say: "Mom, can you believe what a jerk this guy was?" And they would tell me the story. I would say: "oh yeah? where is he?" Then I would go kick the guy's *** for pissin off the kids.

According to the Bible, masturbating is a sin because you are lusting after someone and thinking dirty thoughts. You are not supposed to think those things unless you are with the person you intend to spend the rest of your life with, in the eyes of God. Personally, I don't think about it that way. It is a normal urge that everyone has at some point in their life and you have the right to explore your own body. It is yours after all. Also, it is a good way to prevent pregnancy, STDs and AIDs. You can't get any of those things by masturbating. So, technically it is a sin, but I guess it depends on how religious you are. I'm not that religious, it's not something I'm going to lose sleep over, or stop doing.

That is stealing. They gave you the money with the expectation that you'd give them something in return. It would be like you giving a contractor money to build you a porch, and the contractor going to Vegas instead. Since I'm pretty sure stealing is mentioned in the Bible and underaged drinking isn't, then I think you should have just refused.

No...kids shouldn't trust just anybody and you did a good thing by stopping the underage kids from drinking....but on the other hand you kinda stole the money they gave you....unless you look at it as a gift.

Respect the sentiment, but that's jacked up. God says not to steal, which however funny the situation is what you did.
Just tell the kids no next time dude.

Stealing the money was the sin. The proper thing to have done would have been tell them no and not accepted any money from them.

What was the purpose of taking their money? Didn't you have enough of your own to get what you wanted? Just tell them "no," because stealing is wrong even if they did intend to get alcohol with it. It is not up to us to decide who misuses their money and from whom it is all right to steal.

I would say High Five! I don't think it's wrong, it's teaching them a lesson. However, you shouldn't be drinking alcohol so God wouldn't give you a high five for drinking but would for not contributing to the delinquincy of a minor.

While it is wrong to take people's money, you've done such as a Robin Hood type character. Apparently these kids have money to blow if they're wanting to spend it on alcohol... If you hadn't done that someone else may have bought them the alcohol. I can't say 'way to go' but I wouldn't call it a terrible crime either.

So you are asking is it ok to Steal? So do you have so little a moral compass that you think it is just funny to steal from misguided children?
